How To Get Around

When I was on Mauritius I only used taxis from this company: http://www.taxismauritius.com/
They are a reliable company and the communication was fast and easy so I can recommend them.

To get an idea of the costs I made using the taxi, check out this.

If you want complete freedom than renting a car is the best option. But do keep in mind that they drive on the left side of the road in Mauritius.

Mauritius also has a good bus network. It’s a cheap way to explore the island.
On this website you can find more information about the bus schedules. https://www.mauritius-buses.com/
